John,

Lunar New Year, or Seollal in Korean, is a celebration of the first new moon of the lunar calendar for many Asian communities.

Each year in the zodiac calendar carries a special meaning. 2025, the Year of the Snake, symbolizes intelligence, strong will, and determination – qualities we need as we work to make our country more safe, just, and secure.

I am a realist. I know the road ahead is not easy. But if we work together and stay determined, we can and will push forward. With our first end of month fundraising deadline of the year just days away, I’m asking for your support, John. Will you contribute $10 today to help us continue fighting? [[link removed]]

This year, I’m proud to take on new leadership positions and serve in the most diverse Congress in history. This progress didn’t happen overnight – it’s thanks to people like you who continue to fight for equity, inclusion, and opportunity.

But there’s more work to do, and your support is crucial.

Tonight, as I look up at the first new moon of the year, I’ll think of my family, my heritage, and those who came before me. I hope you’ll join me in recommitting to the fight ahead by donating $10 or more today. [[link removed]]
