Imagine living in a tent with your entire family,
squeezed into a corner of a tightly packed refugee camp. You’ve escaped
terrible violence. You’ve made it through the cold winter. And now you
must face a new threat: COVID-19.
In Syria, and in refugee camps around the world, an outbreak of COVID-19
could endanger the lives of millions of people. It’s a crisis unlike any
we’ve faced before.
That’s why Mercy Corps has set an ambitious goal to raise $550,000 before
midnight on May 31, to provide emergency relief and build long-term
resilience for families facing crisis around the globe. [ [link removed] ]And thanks to a
generous group of supporters who have contributed to our Matching Gift
Challenge Fund, your matching gift of $35
or more can help us go twice as far.
