We are only NINE days into the second Trump Administration, and in an extreme authoritarian display, Donald Trump ordered a pause in all federal grants and loans.

States have been left confused around programs like Medicaid, including in Connecticut. Our most vulnerable groups will suffer from decisions like this.

Children and families who depend on programs like Head Start.

Seniors on a fixed income who rely on food safety nets.

College students who rely on grants and loans.

Small business owners who have federal loans and a variety of non-profits who receive federal support.

Every community in the country will be affected by this.
