Hello John,
The beginning of 2025 has been nothing short of eventful. In the whirlwind of recent events—the 5th Circuit decision on DACA, President Donald Trump’s inauguration, and the launch of campaigns against immigrants and vulnerable communities—we must remember our power as individuals and the possibilities when we work collectively.
As we fight the challenges and threats to our communities, it is crucial to remember the history and legacies of Black and Indigenous people, people of color, immigrants, women, and LGBTQ+ people who are proof that we can bloom even in the darkest times. This moment calls for our hope and determination to realize a future that is bright and safe for everyone.
The years ahead will not be easy, but we do not have to go through them alone. Even when a lot remains unknown, know that you have the undocumented community by your side, and together, we will always find ways to thrive.
Read our statement on the presidential inauguration and 5th Circuit decision on DACA, which includes must-know resources and information. Continue reading below for our most recent updates, opportunities open to you, and more!
