Let’s talk about Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

Today begins the confirmation hearings for RFK – and as Donald Trump’s pick to run the Department of Health and Human Services, RFK would be in charge of the overall health of our country and its people. He’d lead the charge in disease prevention, research into new medications and treatments, and so much more. But RFK being appointed to lead this critical department is something that should terrify us all.

As a pediatrician, and the only pro-choice woman doctor in Congress, Kim takes the health and wellness of the American people very seriously – and Robert F. Kennedy is someone Kim cannot get behind. If you agree, then we need your help to fight back. We need more leaders like Kim who will stand up for our health, not for their own self-serving agenda. Robert F. Kennedy wasn’t chosen because he’s a health expert. In fact, he’s been pushing health conspiracy theories for years. Here’s some of his greatest hits:

– RFK is anti-vaccine. He has spent most of his career pushing lies about childhood vaccinations and his plans as our HHS Secretary could cause a massive insurgence of infectious diseases.
– RFK wants to shake-up scientific research – and not in a good way . He’s made it known that his first plan of action if confirmed is to replace hundreds of scientists and move their work away from infectious disease research.
– RFK was a huge critic of COVID-19 restrictions. He didn’t believe in any of the precautionary measures Americans took to stop the spread.
– RFK refuses to believe HIV causes AIDS. In fact, he thinks scientists conspired to “make up” a disease that causes AIDS so they could “take control of it.”

Point blank: Robert F. Kennedy should be nowhere near the Department of Health and Human Services.

We need more leaders like Kim who will take healthcare seriously; who will listen to scientists and make decisions that will help Americans, not hurt them.
