Essam is a former geospatial analyst in the US Army and he has a BFA in photography from the School of Visual Arts. Among his more notable artworks are Drone Zones and The Drone Campaign. Essam will share some of his experiences as an activist and an artist, as well as some of the art he has created around the issue of armed drones.
