Dear John,
Has your monthly energy bill gone up in recent years? John, utility rate hikes in Oregon have gone too far. We need your voice this legislative session to ensure lawmakers invest in energy efficiency and affordability.
In the 2025 legislative session, lawmakers have two choices:
1. Make long overdue investments in programs to help keep energy costs down and upgrade housing to be more weather resilient, or 2. Slash the already scarce funding for existing programs. We must ensure Oregon continues to build on our progress toward a clean energy future that protects our families and communities from extreme weather and climate disasters - and protects ratepayers from higher costs.
Have you made energy upgrades to your home, or are you planning to? Do you need help finding resources to navigate increasingly extreme hot and cold weather? Have you been impacted by rate hikes? Lawmakers need to hear your story. Take our brief survey [[link removed]] to get connected with opportunities to push the State of Oregon to address our utility rate and energy efficiency crisis.
