President Trump’s visit to California brings hope to our troubled state. I was grateful to join the President <[link removed]>for the robust roundtable discussion about the devastating fire damage and recovery.

President Trump started <[link removed]>by declaring “There is no Golden Age without the Golden State.” Clearly, our President is committed to helping California thrive and delivering not only disaster relief aid, but also the policy reform our state desperately needs.

From securing our elections, ending sanctuary state laws, stopping the gas powered car ban, and dethroning King Newsom, we have a lot of work to do with the new President. I’m confident he’s ready to partner with California Republicans to get it done.

While we work with President Trump on solutions for California, Democrats are finding new ways to avoid responsibility and push our state further into chaos.

California is burning down, brush hasn't been managed in years, fire hydrants are running dry, and homeowners can’t get insurance. So what’s the Democrats’ master plan?

This week, they unveiled Senate Bill 222 (Weiner, 2025), which lets fire victims sue gasoline companies for damages.

Instead of owning up to their government mismanagement and failures, they’re pointing fingers at climate change. Maybe next, they’ll blame the gas pump for homeless encampments lining our streets!

Rather than screaming the sky is falling because of climate change, the Legislature should be focusing on FIRE-PROOFING California.

Republicans are fighting on two fronts: 1) against the radical Democrats and their insane policies, and 2) pushing for better policies that will actually fix California.
