Last night, Donald Trump tried to freeze federal spending for thousands of government programs in what's becoming the biggest test of his executive power to date.
He wanted to halt payments for housing assistance, disaster relief, affordable healthcare, food aid, and more, sending millions of vulnerable Americans into a panic.
Thankfully, federal courts have halted the freeze in what promises to set up an intense legal battle over Donald Trump's authority.

Donald Trump and his billionaire friends are grabbing power to enrich themselves while they leave everyday Americans out in the cold. They want to take away Medicaid, food stamps, school lunch programs, Section 8 housing assistance, grants for small businesses, and any government aid that doesn't go directly to them.
