Hello John,
You’re invited to spend an elegant evening at ISI with former NEA chair and celebrated poet Dana Gioia at our 18th Annual Gala for Western Civilization at Wilmington, Delaware on May 2, 2025!
Our theme is Beauty Will Save America. As I argued in the Wall Street Journal in November, America is great in no small part because it is beautiful. To truly renew our national, civic, and cultural identity as Americans, we must preserve and promote the highest standards of beauty and artistic achievement.
Dana Gioia—praised as a visionary leader of the National Endowment for the Arts under George W. Bush and lauded nationally as a poet and literary critic—is the perfect figure to help us explore this theme.

The event will start off with a reception from 6:00-7:00 PM, followed by dinner and a keynote address from 7:00-10:00 PM.
To cap off the night, there will be an afterglow with drinks and other refreshments from 10:00-11:00 PM!
We are limiting attendance to only 200 guests to ensure that this evening remains intimate and exclusive.
