NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING: THAYNE NORTH SEWER EXTENSION

The Town of Thayne, Wyoming, will conduct a public meeting at 6:00 p.m., local time, on February 19th, in the Thayne Town Hall. This meeting will be held at the start of the Town City Council Meeting. The purpose of the meeting is to allow citizens to review and comment on the following project(s).

Thayne North Sewer Extension. This project includes the installation of new sewer main lines to service the north section of the Town, which currently does not have access to Town Sewer.

At the meeting, the Town of Thayne, Wyoming will present the preliminary design of the proposed project and will discuss the estimated cost of the improvements and the plan for funding the improvements. A preliminary plan of improvements, cost estimates, and the funding plan can also be reviewed at the Office of Sunrise Engineering. Contact Robert Hood at (307) 885-8500.

Based on current cost estimates, the Town plans to borrow $925,000 from the Wyoming Clean Water State Revolving Loan Fund administered by the Wyoming Office of State Lands and Investments. Principal Forgiveness is expected to be $585,000. Existing Sewer Funds will be used to repay the loan. Loan terms will be 1.5% interest rate and 20 years.
