Hi there, it’s Deborah Ross.

I won’t sugarcoat it: The past two weeks have thrown a lot at us.

Immediately following Trump’s inauguration, we saw a slew of executive actions curbing access to affordable prescription drugs, pardoning people convicted of attacking and injuring law enforcement officers, and dangerous withdrawals of the United States from the World Health Organization and the Paris Climate Agreement.

If there’s anything to take away from this, it’s that we need to come together in defense of our values like never before.

Because what we do today — here and now — will determine if we’re able to take back control of Congress in 2026 and issue a critical check on Donald Trump’s agenda.

This Friday marks more than the end of January — it’s our campaign’s first fundraising deadline since Trump took office. My team has set out to raise $10,000 before then to signal to Washington that we’re not slowing down in our fight against extremism, and our push for progress.
