Keep reading for more details on why your support makes such a difference at this moment:

Anyone who’s ever encountered a schoolyard bully knows their tactics: if they can’t win fair and square, they cheat.

Well, that’s what we’re seeing on the ground in North Carolina. And that’s exactly why we’re fighting the egregious attempts to subvert the will of the people.

After the people of North Carolina re-elected Justice Allison Riggs to the North Carolina Supreme Court, that same body is now blocking the certification of her victory. Her opponent, extremist Jefferson Griffin, is refusing to accept the outcome of the election which Justice Riggs won fair and square.

Team, this is what we mean when we say it’s all on the line. We’re mobilizing in North Carolina and around the country to fight back against attempts to undermine our democracy, including gerrymandering. And we need to raise $10,000 by the end of this month to power our work. Chip in today with a donation before midnight on January 31. → [link removed]

What is happening in North Carolina is a classic page out of anti-democracy extremists’ playbooks. After voters cast their ballots, and Justice Riggs won, her opponent is now baselessly calling into question tens of thousands of votes, including ballots from military service members. And an analysis from the News & Observer led to this shamefully telling headline: “Black NC voters twice as likely to have ballots challenged.”

We know that these attacks will only become more frequent and more acute now that as there are many dangerous election deniers in power nationally.

We have to be prepared for what is about to come our way over the next four years. That’s why we’ve set a goal of raising $10,000 by the end of this month — and with your support, we can be a firewall against anti-democracy power grabs nationwide. → [link removed]
