Fellow American,
You and I are now seeing life slowly start to return to normal.
Churches are re-opening their doors to us. Businesses are welcoming us back as their customers. And we can get everything on our shopping lists when we head to grocery stores.
But while we want to return to life as it was, the policies that our leaders pass for continued COVID-19 relief could re-shape our culture and our country for many years after the virus has passed.
As pro-family activists, you and I must ensure that the next round of coronavirus relief legislation strengthens families and supports family formation — or we risk leaving the American family behind for an entire generation.
Will you join the American Principles Project to tell Congress that additional economic stimulus packages must be a “Family First” plan? Please sign the petition right now.
The left has spent years attacking and eroding the strength of the family.
You and I have seen the result of these damaging blows: more broken homes, more children locked into poverty with no end in sight, and more children denied their right of having a mother and a father.
And recently you and I saw in the news how few families are being formed today.
The U.S. birth rate has fallen to a 35-year low — and it could drop even lower if we don’t support family formation during these challenging times.
Now the COVID-19 pandemic and the related government lockdowns have placed unprecedented strain on American families … at a time when they’re at their weakest point in our culture due to decades of misguided, anti-family policies from the left.
That’s why the next round of coronavirus relief legislation, which Senator Mitch McConnell has signaled may come soon, must put families first!
Any additional coronavirus relief legislation must prioritize policies which strengthen families and family formation, like the Cassidy-Sinema “baby bonus” plan I’ve shared with you previously.
But Congress won’t act if pro-family activists like you and me don’t speak up.
Fellow American, the future of the American family is at stake. Can I count on you to join the fight?
