Last night, Donald Trump ordered sweeping cuts to popular programs that all Americans rely on, raising costs and putting people's livelihoods at risk. These cuts are devastating to Colorado and are proof that Donald Trump is looking out for his billionaire buddies -- not the voters who thought he would be focused on cutting costs and boosting our economy.
Colorado's state budget relies on federal funding to support hospitals, universities, early childhood programs, research laboratories and critical services that touch all of our lives. Trump's efforts to rip these services away from people come at the same time that he's proposing giving billions more to his billionaire friends through tax cuts -- we can't let this slide.
