Hi, it’s Josh Stein, reaching out to you for the first time as Governor of North Carolina.

Earlier this month, I was honored to be inaugurated as the 76th governor of North Carolina. First, I want to say thank you. My election in November was expected to be one of the most competitive races in the country – polls showed me and my opponent neck-and-neck for months. Republicans were determined to defeat me at any price. But thanks to the support of grassroots supporters like you, we chose hope over hate. Competence over chaos. Decency over division. And we won!

Now, I’m hitting the ground running to build a safer, stronger North Carolina for every person. Our fight for a brighter future is just beginning.

That’s why I’m reaching out to you now. To ensure Democratic governors can deliver on the issues that truly matter, we need to hear directly from you. Your input as a reliable Democrat helps us understand where voters stand during this pivotal moment.
