*Right of Entry Forms Available to Impacted Residents [ [link removed] ]*

Los Angeles County announced today the launch of the Right of Entry form for the free debris removal program available to residents impacted by the recent Eaton and Palisades fires. To participate in the free service, residents must complete a Right of Entry form by March 31 [ [link removed] ], 2025 [ [link removed] ]. 

Residents can call the* Fire Debris Hotline* with questions, or get help completing the form at (*844) 347-3332. *In-person assistance also is available at the Disaster Recovery Centers [ [link removed] ] open 9 AM to 8 PM.

*Los Angeles County Recovers Press Conference on Wednesday*

Tomorrow morning, on Jan. 29 at 8 AM, Supervisors Kathryn Barger and Lindsey Horvath will host a press conference with Public Works Director Mark Pestrella to provide the latest updates on the process now underway to recover from the devastating Palisades and Eaton fires. The press conference will go over the details involving the debris removal process and the Right of Entry forms needed to allow Phase II to begin.

For this press conference, real-time AI interpretation will be available in more than 60 languages including interpreted audio and translated subtitles. *Two Town Hall Meetings This Thursday *

California Department of Insurance Commissioner Ricardo Lara is hosting a Virtual Wildfire Insurance Town Hall on Thursday, Jan. 30 at 5 PM [ [link removed] ]. Commissioner Lara and other subject matter experts will discuss how to navigate insurance issues after the fires. 

Additionally, the Los Angeles County Department of Military & Veteran Affairs is holding an in-person town hall on Thursday at 6 PM [ [link removed] ] to assist veterans with disaster recovery resources, as well as services to help navigate the challenges brought on by the disaster. *Returning Safely*

In the Palisades Fire area, all city and county zones are open to residents. However, those returning must show ID to enter. Additionally, contractors and tow trucks are now allowed to get in, but must show proof of being hired by a resident to enter the area.

In the Eaton Fire area, all residents are also allowed to re-enter formerly evacuated areas.

This week, a new Disaster Recovery Center opened in Altadena [ [link removed] ] to assist residents impacted by the Eaton Fire. The center is located at 540 West Woodbury Road, Altadena, CA 91001.

Both the Pasadena and Altadena locations will be open through the end of January. However, beginning Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025, the Pasadena location will be closed, and all services will be shifted to Altadena.
