Dear Commerce grantees and stakeholders,

We are aware of the recent OMB memorandum [ [link removed] ] regarding the freeze on certain federal aid programs. At this time, we do not have any additional information on how this may impact your funding.

Please know that we are actively monitoring the situation and have submitted inquiries to the appropriate federal agencies to seek clarification. We are coordinating our response with Commerce leadership and the Governor’s Office.  We will share updates as soon as we receive more concrete information.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate this situation together. If you have any immediate concerns or questions, please feel free to reach out, and we will do our best to assist.

Sincerely,

Joe Nguyễn, Director of Commerce
