The festivities continue with the LULAC Legislative & Unity Awards on Wednesday, March 12, where we will celebrate outstanding contributions to the arts, advocacy, and philanthropy. We will honor influential leaders and trailblazers in various fields, recognizing their dedication to making a positive impact. Hosting nearly 300 youth aged 18 to 25, the LULAC Academy will feature a series of targeted plenaries alongside advocacy visits on Capitol Hill. This unique opportunity allows participants to engage deeply with critical topics, including health, technology and AI, education, immigration, and economic empowerment. Led by key policy leaders and experts, these plenaries will provide invaluable insights and experiences, highlighting the vital role of Latinos and Latino identity in addressing ongoing challenges and driving innovative solutions.
