I know there’s a lot of overwhelming and negative news right now, so I wanted to take a moment to hopefully spread just a tiny bit of joy.

I promised my three kids that they could get a pet if my senate campaign didn’t advance through the primary last year. And you can bet I kept that promise!

Poppy brings so much joy to our lives. I grew up with basset hounds, and now it’s fun to share my love for these floppy, but spirited dogs with my kids.
