The Trump Administration has ordered a sweeping freeze of all federal aid.

This "temporary" freeze would impact crucial federal assistance programs that hundreds and thousands of Philadelphians and millions of Americans rely on like Medicaid, housing assistance, school breakfast and lunch programs, grants for clean water infrastructure, and SNAP.

Donald Trump is letting greed and lawlessness be his guide. These actions will hurt working families from all walks of life — regardless of who they voted for in the 2024 election. It will leave behind the people who need help the most while forcing state and local governments to raise taxes. It's chaotic and despicable.

Already, state governments and nonprofits are suing Trump, citing "immediate nationwide harm," and a federal judge has temporarily blocked the federal aid freeze, with hearings set for next week. To join me in demanding Trump reverse course and put the needs of the American people first, please add your name next to mine.
