In one of President Trump’s many executive orders since taking office last week, he overturned Joe Biden’s executive order to lower prescription drug prices. The elimination of this policy will hurt Connecticut families and taxpayers — the only winner here is Big Pharma and their profit margin. This policy change will hurt the most vulnerable among us: families, seniors, and individuals with chronic illnesses will see higher prices for medications they can’t live without.
