I won my first campaign just over 20 years ago — and I still have one of my campaign signs:

Serving New Mexico and our country has been the honor of my life — from my time on the Albuquerque City Council to serving as a ranking member of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, to keeping New Mexico blue and fighting for our shared values in the Senate today.

My work has always been rooted in building a brighter future for New Mexico, including making everyday life more affordable, advancing clean energy, and preserving public lands and water for future generations.

That hasn’t changed. In fact, our fight for this future just got even more important . It’s more critical than ever to protect the progress we’ve made and help elect Democrats who will protect our fundamental freedoms and stand up to Donald Trump’s extreme agenda.

Grassroots support is how I was elected to public office in the first place, and it’s how I will stay in the Senate and stand up to every attack launched by the Trump Administration. That’s why I’m reaching out today:
