Earthday.org has two birthdays in 2020. The first was our 50th anniversary on April 22, 2020. The second is November 3, 2020 — Election Day in the U.S.! 

We need leaders who will protect our environment and take action to combat the climate crisis. That’s why we’ve launched Vote Earth, a global initiative to mobilize millions of people to demonstrate their concern for our planet by rejecting inaction and demanding change.

FIRST pledge to vote for environmental progress in November. Join the millions of people who have committed to voting for the environment in this year’s elections.

Second, make sure you are registered to vote. Use our Check Your Registration tool to see if your registration is accurate and current. If you aren't registered or you need to re-register because you have moved, you can do so after checking. Triple your impact by committing to sign up three friends to vote for the environment this fall.

Next, text VOTE to 727-27* to join our Vote Earth community. We will send you voting updates and alerts. We also need volunteers to work in their communities to protect our rights to vote by mail and vote early.

Especially now, when our leaders have failed to follow science and have left us vulnerable and unprepared, we need leaders who will help us protect our health and the health of the planet.
