We’re fewer than six months out from the most consequential election of our lifetimes, John, so it’s no exaggeration to say that the work we do in the coming days will determine the future of this country. We have a critical FEC deadline coming up on Sunday -- the most important of this race so far -- so I hope you’ll give me a minute to explain why your support is so important.

It’s critically important that we’re able to scale up these efforts to meet the magnitude of what’s at stake, and we need to hit our goals to do that. We’ve made great progress so far, but there is still so much work to be done before Election Day. We have a major opportunity on our hands to connect with, build relationships with, and mobilize core constituencies in our party’s coalition -- but unless we’re able to support organizing and messaging operations to make that a reality, it will go to waste.

That’s what I mean when I say we need to scale up our programs: We need to take all of the practices that have helped us win so many local, state, and federal races since 2017 and expand them in the areas they’re most needed.
