What happens in one part of the country doesn’t stay in that part of the country.

When anti-democracy extremists come up with a new way to restrict the freedom to vote in one state — like mass voter purges — they don’t keep it to themselves. And all too often, we’ve seen anti-voter schemes from Georgia used as models across the country.

Nationwide threats require nationwide action. So, as anti-voter extremists take pages out of each others’ playbooks and spread voter intimidation and suppression tactics, we will keep bringing pro-voter champions together to fight back.

We will build on our successes — like helping prevent thousands of voters from being purged from the voting rolls, taking on voter suppression, and exposing the biggest threats to democracy head on. And together, we will defend the freedom to vote from MAGA GOP attacks.

Look: anti-voter radicals hope that by attacking our rights all over America, from the halls of Congress to state legislatures to courthouses, they can force us to play whack-a-mole. They hope they can keep pro-voter activists too scattered to fight back against the big picture.

But we see through their game. We see the connections between each attack on our fundamental freedoms.

As long as they keep mounting an interlocked assault, we’ll lock arms in response. And as we enter this new era — where our democracy is under greater threat than we’ve seen in our lifetimes — we’ll make sure this time period isn’t defined by the attacks we face, but rather by the defenses we build, together.
