John, we have a MAJOR update out of Minnesota.
Earlier this month, Republicans in the Minnesota legislature held a sham election for Speaker of the state House – without Democratic participation and in defiance of Secretary of State Steve Simon.
That move landed them in court, and the Minnesota Supreme Court just ruled with Democrats and declared the power grab unconstitutional.

This is a big early win for our democracy and the rule of law, but we still have a long road ahead.
We’re now waiting on a special election to fill a vacant seat, and we expect Republicans to engage in even more legal shenanigans to elect a GOP Speaker.
In fact, just yesterday we got word that Republicans are now attempting to EXPEL a duly-elected Democratic state senator to tip the balance of power in their favor in the upper chamber.
