The Trump administration just announced a pause of nearly all federal grants and assistance.

This is a reckless, dangerous, unconstitutional act that will negatively impact every community across Montana. Under this pause, funding for Medicaid and rural hospitals will be frozen. Resources for local police departments will be in flux. Education programs that rely on federal funding will be cut. And numerous small businesses, farmers, and ranchers will see their livelihoods be placed at risk.

Senator Daines, Senator Sheehy, Congressman Zinke, and Congressman Downing must stand up to President Trump before this blatantly illegal proposal causes irreparable harm to the people of Montana.
