Caregivers and care workers play a critical role in the fabric of our society, especially in communities of color. Yet, despite their importance, caregivers are too often excluded from the creation and implementation of the very policies that impact them most. To begin addressing this gap, with the support of the Lucile Packard Foundation for Children’s Health, our National Caregiver Coalition ([link removed]) embarked on an equity- and community-led process to identify key learnings and recommendations to both future caregiving advocacy and other Coalitions fighting for systems change.
