Another Senate seat has opened up in Michigan for 2026.

It’s not time to say goodbye yet, but I wanted to send a major THANK YOU to Senator Gary Peters for his lifetime of service to Michigan - from serving in the US Navy Reserve to the halls of Congress. I am grateful for his partnership and look forward to working together for our community over the next two years!

In 2022, our campaign changed the trajectory here in West Michigan–for our state and our country. Strong grassroots support took West Michigan from a 50-year Republican stronghold to sending the first pro-choice woman to Congress. And then, despite the political tides against us, we held the seat. While the nation faced a rightward swing, West Michigan remains a bright blue spot.

I’m so proud of what I’ve been able to accomplish. As a born and raised West Michigander, I know what matters most here. Our community and our country need practical, solution-oriented problem solvers now more than ever. I bring that voice to our community and to Washington every single day.

In 2026, West Michigan will be pivotal in electing a Democratic senator in Michigan, but to lock in another victory for Democrats, we have to start now.
