Donald Trump signed dozens of executive orders during his first days in the Oval Office. 

One of them halts funding from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to fix roads, build bridges, and repair crumbling infrastructure nationwide.

I’m sounding the alarm bells — because the president should not be putting ongoing projects at risk. Imagine a half-finished bridge, left to wither away when the federal government fails to pay its share of funding to complete the project. Or imagine projects to replace lead pipes in schools canceled because Trump cut off resources for this bill.

Donald Trump was elected to make a positive difference for the American people — but instead, he’s putting jobs and safe infrastructure at risk. 

I’m leading the charge to fight back against Trump on this executive order (among many other troubling orders).

john, I can’t imagine this is the last time Donald Trump gets in the way of our work — and I’m going to make sure voters remember his actions.
