That’s why, if you haven’t yet signed our urgent Petition to President Trump, please take a moment to do it now. ( [link removed] )

Dear Supporter,

As President Donald Trump moves forward his priority agenda for our nation, he is facing enormous pressure by powerful forces in Congress and billionaire CEOs on Wall Street to dramatically scale back the programs and services relied on by millions of older Americans.

That’s why I must ask you to please sign our Emergency Petition to President Trump today, urging him to REJECT efforts by fiscal hawks to cut Social Security and Medicare benefits and use the “savings” to extend massive tax cuts for the wealthy and huge corporations. ( [link removed] )

There can be no doubt, opponents of Social Security and Medicare believe the Trump administration and new Congress will offer a ripe environment to push forward their radical “reforms” for seniors’ programs.

These are just a few of the ways they could try to slash your earned benefits:

Reducing the annual Social Security Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA),

Means testing Social Security benefits which could reduce the benefits of middle-income workers,

Slashing critically needed funding from the Social Security Administration, and

Reversing historic drug pricing reforms that are lowering the high cost of prescription drugs for seniors.

Supporter, your signed petition ( [link removed] ) will help demonstrate the overwhelming importance of Social Security and Medicare for millions of older Americans … and send a powerful message that you strongly oppose any proposal, plan or budget that calls for cutting Social Security and Medicare, or turning over control of guaranteed benefits to Wall Street bankers or huge insurance companies!

Let’s remind President Trump that slashing earned benefits for the sake of reducing federal debt and extending tax breaks for billionaires is not a plan voters support. Please help us hold him accountable for his promise not to cut Social Security and Medicare!

Your action is needed now ( [link removed] ) because these are your earned benefits on the line in the Trump administration.

Sincerely,

Max Richtman
President & CEO
