Decriminalizing Drugs Failed
Abysmally
When it comes to legalizing drugs, the skeptics were right
all along — and money, it seems, can’t buy everything.
My priority going forward is to build support in the United States
for decriminalizing drug possession,” George Soros declared in 2019,
“as Portugal and some other European countries have done.” Never mind
his age, either. The 94-year-old mega-donor’s son Alexander plans to
carry his father’s multi-billion-dollar torch into a brave new world
of drug decriminalization and legalization, having taking over the
Soros family hedge fund and foundations in mid-2023.
So how’s that working out across the pond?

Glenn Youngkin's Veto Pen Stands Between Virginians & Democrat
Extremists
Virginia Democrats oppose protecting women and school choice, but
they support 3rd trimester abortions and gutting Second Amendment
rights.
Even though Democrats in the Virginia General
Assembly know their extremist bills don't have a shot at escaping
Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin's veto pen, they insist on introducing
the most far-left bills imaginable in the 2025 legislative
session.
Virginia Democrats are quickly killing commonsense Republican bills
that would protect children, abolish taxes on tips, protect women's
sports, and expand freedom for Virginia families. That includes voting
against a bill requiring physicians care for a baby born alive during
a botched abortion.

House GOP
Could Grant Concealed Carry Reciprocity for 22 Million Gun Owners
Nationwide
House Republicans and President Trump are working to pass the
Constitutional Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act to allow all concealed
carry owners to travel in any state without fear of prosecution.
House Republicans and President Donald Trump are
sponsoring legislation to dismantle 50 years of Democrat-led firearm
laws that have stifled concealed carry reciprocity in America and
unduly burden nearly 22 million gun owners.
The Constitutional Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act (H.R. 38) is
backed by 120 House Republicans and would ensure consistent
protections for responsible firearm owners nationwide while still
respecting state-level laws and autonomy. President Donald Trump has
expressed his strong support and readiness to sign the bill into law
if it lands on his desk.
“Our Second Amendment right does not disappear when we cross
invisible state lines, and this commonsense legislation guarantees
that,” said North Carolina Rep. Hudson (R). “The Constitutional
Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act will protect law-abiding citizens’
rights to conceal carry and travel freely between states without
worrying about conflicting state codes or onerous civil suits.”
