Trump campaigned on the promise to sign a nationwide "concealed carry reciprocity" law. In many cases, this means individuals can carry loaded weapons with reckless abandon, and without any requirements for training, proficiency or knowledge that this individual has ever so much as fired a weapon. Concealed carry is proven to increase gun violence — in some cases by as much as 15%.
