Trump declared a “national emergency” at the border so he could use the military against people seeking safety, close the border, and continue building his senseless border wall.
He invoked an over 200-year-old law once used to intern Japanese-Americans in camps to target immigrants all across the country for mass deportations.
Trump also reinstated the cruel “Remain in Mexico” policy which forces asylum seekers into vulnerable conditions while their cases are heard.
He even attacked birthright citizenship, threatening the 14th Amendment.
