** "Should faith schools have a place in modern Britain?" We think not.
Hello,
This Saturday, 30 May at 19.00 I will be debating whether faith schools have a place in modern Britain. The online discussion is organised by Vichaar Manthan UK, an independent voluntary organisation which holds events and study groups aimed at exploring modern issues through a Hindu lens.
The event will be on YouTube, but to ensure you can participate (including in the Q&A) please register here.
Hopefully it will be a great event and that we can get beyond the tired old arguments for faith schools while making the positive case for the secular inclusive alternative. I very much hope that you can attend.
Best wishes,
Alastair Lichten
