My cat Delilah—formerly govt ID #87—is turning 12 years old.
Delilah is a very special feline. You see, she’s a survivor of the largest cat experimentation laboratory in the entire U.S. government.

Delilah was a breeder in the Dept. of Agriculture's notorious ‘Kitten Slaughterhouse.’ Over 5,000 perished in this lab, where:
- Stray pets were rounded up from Chinese and foreign wet markets.
- Cat (and dog) meat was fed to lab kittens in cannibalism tests.
- 22 of Delilah’s kittens were slaughtered and incinerated.

Then, I adopted Delilah and gave her a new one. Thanks for helping me save her life.
Delilah isn’t just the poster child for cats in laboratories. She’s also my best friend.
