Appointment to Energy and Commerce Committee Environment Subcommittee Vice Chair
I am excited to announce that I have been appointed as the Vice Chair of the Environment Subcommittee of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce. I look forward to continuing my work in the subcommittee to ensure that my constituents and the country continue to enjoy clean air and water.
Protecting the Second Amendment
I am proud to announce that the first piece of legislation that I introduced in the 119th Congress was H.R. 223, the Preventing Unjust Red Flag Laws Act of 2025. This legislation will help protect the rights of law-abiding Americans by prohibiting the use of federal funds to implement or enforce red flag laws.

Remember, with VA health care, you’re covered for regular checkups with your primary care provider and appointments with specialists (like cardiologists, gynecologists, and mental health providers). You can access Veterans health care services like home health and geriatric (elder) care, and you can get medical equipment, prosthetics, and prescriptions.
