Team – this is yet another reminder that our race will be decided by a razor-thin margin, and every day from now until Election Day, we’ll need to give it our all to flip this seat blue.

We know that this race is already attracting national attention—and outside money—because the polls are tight, and both parties are closely watching Virginia as a bellwether in the aftermath of the 2024 Election.

With Donald Trump and the Republican majority looming large over the political landscape, the outcome in Virginia will send a powerful message about the direction of our country. We saw it in Virginia Governor’s races in 2017 and 2021, and this year, the stakes are just as high.

National Republicans have already started pouring money into Abigail’s opponent’s campaign. In the coming months, we’ll face an onslaught of attack ads and outside spending. That’s why we need to build up our resources NOW to weather every attack and ensure Abigail has the tools she needs to win.
