Here are the latest updates from LA County's Coordinated Joint Information Center as of 10 a.m. on Jan. 26, 2025.
*Weather*
A flood watch is in effect from 4 PM today until Monday afternoon [ [link removed] ]. Beginning tonight through Monday morning, there is a high risk for heavy rain and thunderstorms [ [link removed] ], with a concern about debris flow potential for recent burn scars, including the Eaton, Palisades, Franklin, Hughes and Bridge fire areas.

The LA County Medical Examiner has identified 18 victims [ [link removed] ] of the confirmed 28 deaths as a result of the fires. The office continues investigating these deaths and will update their website with additional identities and cases [ [link removed] ] as information becomes available.
