We wanted to quickly follow up on Mandela’s message a few days back about the Wisconsin Supreme Court race.

We were happy to see the big response we got from this team, with folks chipping in $10, $20, or even just $5 at a time to help elect Judge Susan Crawford.

But we wanted to make sure everyone understands the stakes here, because we need the help of progressives of all kinds to win this important race.

Listen, if the GOP’s hand-picked candidate wins this race, the Wisconsin Supreme Court will fall into the hands of a right-wing, extremist majority.

If that happens, they could strike down our new fair maps, reinstate the ban on collective bargaining for workers, hand down new restrictions of abortion access, and completely wind back the clock on the important progress we’ve made in the last few years.

And this is about countering Trump and his MAGA-extremists as too. Because with the GOP’s increasingly anti-democratic, authoritarian rhetoric and policies, a loss here could mean locking Democrats out of electoral victory in Wisconsin for a long time.

So with this election just a few months away, we are running out of time to build our momentum and get our message out there. That’s why we are asking for your support once again.
