🚨New MRP Polling:
All GB constituencies favour trade with EU over US
A new Best for Britain/YouGov poll
of almost 15,000 people shows that across England, Scotland and Wales,
almost half (46%) would say the EU should be the
Government’s top priority
when it comes to trade. (And we need you to send this to your MP, so
please do read on!)
Less than half
this number (22%) would opt for the US.
4% would think the Government’s
focus should be China while 6% would favour another
country.
The astounding results have been
published just days after Donald Trump was sworn in as US President for the second
time, promising tariffs on China and the EU. The findings mark a disappointment for
vocal Trump supporter and EU critic Nigel Farage MP,
whose constituency of Clacton did not buck this trend.
It is a similar story in Boston and
Skegness which recorded the strongest Leave vote in the 2016 referendum.
