So far this month we’ve raised $111,897 toward our $175,000 goal — at this point in April we had raised $139,788.

We’re 19.95% behind on our fundraising compared to last month. Our staff and organizers are working every day to help our endorsed candidates run successful campaigns and win and it’s really important that we hit every goal that we set.

We don’t expect everyone will be able to contribute in response to this email. But if you can afford to, can we count on you, John, to contribute $3 and help us catch up on our fundraising this month?

We need these resources to fight the DCCC’s policy of blacklisting vendors that work on primary campaigns, to support our slate of endorsed candidates, and continue the work of fighting to transform the Democratic Party to represent voters, not corporations.

Catching up and reaching our $175,000 goal is going to be tough, but we have to try. JD is truly a grassroots organization: we don’t take a single dime from corporate special interests and our average contribution this year is just $15.93.
