We’re on Day Five of the second Trump Administration, and so far, I’m incredibly disappointed by the President’s actions.

Instead of using his first days of the presidency to address the real issues plaguing millions of Wisconsinites and Americans, like lowering costs and expanding healthcare access, he prioritized a radical right-wing agenda.

Already, Trump has come after LGBTQ+ protections, diversity initiatives in the federal government, reproductive healthcare resources, and more. He tried to circumvent the Constitution’s 14th Amendment by restricting birthright citizenship, and he seated multiple billionaires in the front row of his inauguration.

And he issued blanket pardons to thousands of insurrectionists who stormed the Capitol and attacked law enforcement officials on January 6th, 2021.

This is not what Wisconsinites need right now. They are demanding real change and relief from rising costs, unaffordable housing and child care, and so much more.

I’m ready to work with anyone, including President Trump, to deliver for the people of Wisconsin. I’ll always put the needs of Wisconsinites first, and I’ll fight for the rights and freedoms under attack by the Trump Administration.

As I work to make a difference for Wisconsin’s families, please chip in to uplift my work. We’re certainly going to face challenges ahead in our efforts to make progress — but I’ll do what it takes to fight for our state.
