Spreading Holiday Cheer to Deployed Heroes

We LOVE these heartwarming photos from a deployed Chaplain we supported through our Holiday Stockings for Heroes program! Seeing the smiles on the faces of our deployed men and women is what it's all about.

Here’s the wonderful message we received from the Chaplain:

"Hello Carol, Happy New Year! We are so blessed to have received hundreds of stuffed Christmas stockings, as well as unfilled ones. We distributed all the stockings to our Airmen and Soldiers and want to express our heartfelt gratitude for the wonderful gifts you sent. It brought so much light and happiness during our time here. Knowing you all took the time and effort to make this happen means the world to us. The beanies have been a huge hit—everyone wore them right away due to the weather. Thank you again for your incredible generosity and support. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!"

—Chaplain J.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this holiday season brighter for our deployed heroes! Your support truly makes a difference. 🎄❤️

New Fires Have Started and the Devastation Continues

The Los Angeles fires are already among the most devastating in history, and with new blazes erupting in recent days, the destruction continues to grow. Thanks to your generosity, we’ve already raised over $8,000 in cash donations and provided hundreds of in-kind items, many of which have already been delivered to L.A. However, the need remains immense, and we’re calling on you to rally together to support Service Members and Veterans affected in California.

We recently received an encouraging message from Pamela, the Los Angeles VA Chief of CDCE:

Thank you so much for your prompt response and your heartfelt concern for our Veterans impacted by the California wildfires. We deeply appreciate your thoughts and prayers. The devastation is immense, and your compassion and donations means a great deal to us. I would like to extend my gratitude for your generous donation to support our veterans. I would like to acknowledge the invaluable contributions of Soldiers' Angels; you are always at our beck and call.

Thank you once again for your support. You all are our “Amazing Angels.”

Respectfully,

Pamela R. Keith

Chief, Center for Development & Civic Engagement (CDCE)

Spare Change That Changes Lives

What if we told you a single company supported 76 families in our Adopt-A-Family program—all by collecting loose change? That’s exactly what Pull-A-Part, an award-winning family business in the used auto parts industry, did! As they recycle cars and find loose change under the seats, they turn those small coins into big impact by supporting Soldiers' Angels Adopt-A-Family. Read their inspiring story in our latest blog!

Be the Light for Caregivers: Support the Women of Valor Program and Make a Difference

Soldiers' Angels female volunteers work virtually to support female caregivers through the Women of Valor program. This incredible initiative provides much-needed emotional support and thoughtful surprises, offering caregivers a shoulder to lean on and moments of encouragement. These women often devote their lives to caring for their wounded Service Member or Veteran, managing household responsibilities, finances, and raising children, all while putting their own needs last.

That’s why this program is so vital—it reminds caregivers they are not alone. While we may not always know the full extent of their struggles, the support offered can arrive at just the right time.

The Blessing Box shown above was recently sent to one such caregiver, and thanks to Angel Lisa, it made a meaningful impact at exactly the right moment.

"Words cannot express how this made me cry, it is so thoughtful of you Lisa B.. A Blessing Box is what I needed. I have honestly been praying more the last couple of days. Our son was attacked by another wrestler and they broke my son's nose to the point of needing reconstructive surgery. This morning I asked God for a sign to show he is with us at this time and this beautiful Blessing Box came with the amazing prayer book. Thank you again this means alot. May God Bless you and your family always." —Caregiver Supported by Soldiers' Angels Women of Valor

We urgently need more amazing Angels, like Lisa, to support our caregivers! This month, 40 caregivers may miss out on receiving a Blessing Box if we don’t find enough volunteers to help.

If you’re a woman interested in providing encouragement and support to other women facing challenging times, we need you! Registered Angels can log in to their dashboard and search for “Women of Valor” volunteering opportunities. If you’re not yet an Angel, sign up today and start making a difference for our heroes and their caregivers!
