Friend: On his first day in office, President Trump set a dangerous precedent — he granted a sweeping pardon of hundreds of Jan. 6 defendants, including rioters. 

By pardoning these insurrectionists, who threatened our democracy, Trump has FAILED to hold them accountable for their crimes, and instead, invites extremists to act without fear of punishment.
