Hey folks, Rita Hart here. |
This week has been overwhelming. From the anniversary of Roe v. Wade and our reminder of its loss, to Trump’s threats of mass deportations, to his cancellation of Biden’s executive order lowering prescription drug prices, to the growing rise in bird flu, to even the specter of millions of deportations on the horizon — the reality of what we are facing these next four years is really starting to sink in. |
There’s only one thing that can answer this chaos: action. In order to win in two years time, we’re going to need our grassroots organization stronger than it ever has been before. |
Our County Parties are where the most important action takes place. They are the organizations that are capable of canvassing and performing voter outreach anywhere within their borders. They need your help to get there. Find your County Chair’s contact using the link below: Iowa Democratic County Parties | Iowa Democrats. Together, we’ll be able to outlast Trump’s presidency and bring hope into the years beyond it.
Sincerely, Rita Hart IDP Chair |

Iowa Democratic Party: Iowans elected Donald Trump to lower costs, but on day one, he prioritized making healthcare more expensive. By rescinding the $2,000 cap on Medicare prescription drug costs, over 163,000 Iowans are being left to pay the price. |
