Hi John,! It’s Rebecca from Team Lander.

As of today, we are less than five months out from New York City’s primary election. It’s been a busy January, and it’s not even over yet.

While Mayor Adams cozies up to Trump in search of a pardon, and while Andrew Cuomo pretends like he’s not running for Mayor, Brad’s been focusing on the bread-and-butter issues that matter to New Yorkers.

Here are five things Brad’s been up to these past few weeks:

- Brad released a plan to make NYC safer by ending street homelessness for people with serious mental illness. His new solution – featured [[link removed]] in the New York Times – is centered around a “housing first” approach that connects unhoused New Yorkers directly with stable housing and the wraparound mental health services they need.
- Then, some big news in case you missed it: we announced a fundraising haul of $5.4 million, putting us in the strongest position possible with more money raised than any other candidate in the race for Mayor.
- Brad shared his proposal [[link removed]] for a housing share program that connects New Yorkers looking to rent an affordable room with homeowners who have extra space to. It’ll be like Airbnb, but for New Yorkers, not tourists – and at prices we can actually afford.
- New Yorkers are fed up with our dishonest leadership. That’s why Brad announced a “Stop the Corruption” public integrity plan that will restore honesty and ethics to City Hall. It will close lobbying loopholes, increase transparency, and more.
- Finally, we kicked off our campaign for 2025 with a big get-together at Brooklyn Bowl. Thanks to the hundreds of New Yorkers who came out to learn more about Brad and our campaign – we really packed the place!

As Mayor, Brad will roll up his sleeves and get to work making this city safer, more affordable, and better-run.

Our campaign is gaining momentum, but we’re taking absolutely nothing for granted. Over the next five months, we’re going to need all the resources possible to stop Mayor Adams and Andrew Cuomo – and deliver for New Yorkers.

One small-dollar contribution at a time – matched 8:1 by the City – we are building the strongest mayoral campaign to unite all folks in all five boroughs and improve our city.

So we’re asking you: John, can you chip in $5 for the 5 months we have left until New Yorkers cast their votes for mayor? Brad’s counting on your support to give our city the leadership it deserves. [[link removed]]
