Dear Friends,
I will be hosting a public forum at the Welles-Turner Memorial Library in Glastonbury on Monday at 6:00 PM to hear from you and discuss priorities for the new Congress.
It was an honor to be sworn in this month for another term to serve Connecticut’s First District in Congress. Looking ahead to a new session, I am focused on common-sense solutions that support our state’s working families, small businesses, and seniors.
My top priority remains the need to enhance Social Security for all beneficiaries. While some of my colleagues have proposed plans that could result in benefit cuts, I have put forward a plan that will enhance benefits, cut taxes for millions of seniors, and extend the program’s solvency by ensuring the wealthy pay their fair share into Social Security.
I look forward to discussing this important issue, the latest from Washington, D.C., and hearing from you on your priorities. You can RSVP for the forum here.
