Friend, we told you a few weeks ago that there will be moments where we can successfully block Trump’s extremist agenda, and now one of those moments is already here.
As you may know, Trump’s nominee for Secretary of Defense, Fox News host Pete Hegseth, has been exposed for a long record of disqualifying personal and professional conduct.
Hegseth has made many racist and islamophobic statements and repeatedly engages with far-right extremist ideology. He has said clearly that he thinks women shouldn’t serve in the military and has been credibly accused of sexual assault. He is unfit to serve as the head of our armed forces.
Reports now show that a small handful of Republican Senators are considering voting against his confirmation, which would force Trump to go back to the drawing board and pick a new nominee.
So, we’re looking for the help of this team to put maximum pressure on the Senate to vote against Hegseth at tonight’s confirmation vote. We don’t have a lot of time, so we have to move fast.
We’re looking to get at least 10,000 signatures by this afternoon to show that Hegseth cannot and should not be confirmed by the Senate.
